The Honor the Flag organization thanks Lola Behrends for making and donating this beautiful hand-made quilt. We all thank her for this generous gift to our funding raising efforts. She is a real patriot to our vets and 1st responders.

travis vendelaTravis Vendela served two tours of duty in Iraq. On the 2nd tour (2006) his military vehicle was hit twice by IED’s (improvised explosive devices) where he lost both of his legs above the knees. He is grateful to be alive after 30 surgeries. He is pictured here with his three children and lives his life to the fullest everyday. He is a true hero to his country, family and friends.

volunteers

Chris Sauer and the members of his organization volunteered their time to help make the Honor the Flag video possible. He is a member of the Vietnam Vets and Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club. Their primary mission is to insure that POW and MIA vets are NEVER forgotten.

They served their country and continue to defend and protect our flag.
